Phishing
is the act of attempting to acquire information such as usernames, passwords
and credit card details (and sometimes money) the activity of defrauding an
online account holder of financial information by posing as a legitimate
company.
Hackers have grabbed thousands of tumbler user’s
logins in a massive phishing attack. The typically simple but effective assault
on the micro blogging site presented users with the screen asking them to
revalidate their credentials. This is why holders of accounts should be
careful.
