Malware is short for malicious software which is software used or created to disrupt computer operation.

There are about 12 different types of malware and they are: Viruses, Worms, Wabbits, Trojans, Spyware, Exploits, Rootkit, Key loggers, Dialers, URL injections and adware. These are different types of malware and all can damage your computer or kill it.

How do I stop malware?

1.       Installing good pop-up blockers

2.       Use an email client that includes spam guard

3.       Install a personal firewall

4.       Disable cookies on your internet browsers

5.       Read the fine print when downloading items
